Foreign exchange student enjoyed her year at LCC

LAUREL — The Joel and Angela Johnson family opened their home and hearts this year to special visitor, Cassandra Tchu.
Tchu, from Copenhagen, Denmark, spent the 2017-18 school year as a foreign exchange student at Laurel- Concord-Coleridge School.
The school system in Demark differs from that of the United States. In Denmark, Tchu would have begun her upper secondary education-equivalent to college here. This would be a time when Tchu would focus on future training in her chosen profession. In the U.S., she is about to complete her junior year of high school.”
