Swanson will return to local school district 2500 in for the

LAUREL — Contracts for a new principal and two teachers for the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School were approved and resignations from three teachers were accepted at Monday’s LCC School board meeting.

Ken Swanson, who is currently at the Emerson/Hubbard School, will step in as the new High School Principal and Activities Director.

Before moving to Emerson, Swanson formerly taught at Coleridge and coached the Bulldog football team. He will serve as an assistant coach in this year’s Northeast Nebraska Football All Star Classic in Norfolk.

Marcus Messersmith will be the Tech Coordinator and Shane Kinkaid will teach High School Math.
