Wolfgram is lone LCC state track qualifier

PONCA — The Laurel-Concord- Coleridge track team will have one representative at the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships this weekend in Omaha, as Erica Wolfgram qualified for state at Thursday’s C-4 district track meet in Ponca. Wolfgram earned a spot in the state meet thanks to a runner-up finish in the girls high jump, clearing 4 feet,

 

10 inches to post a second-place effort. Wolfgram accounted for more than half of the Lady Bears’ 19 points in the team race, adding a fourth-place effort in the long jump and running with Glenda Vance, Makayla Forsberg and Megan Forsberg on the 400-meter relay team that finished sixth. Madysyn Holloway and Vanessa Vance both earned district medals at the Ponca Sports Complex. Holloway posted a fourth-place effort in the pole vault, while Vance finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles.
