Olympic moments
With the Winter Olympics in full force, the Laurel Pre-School class held their own Olympic games Wednesday.
A variety of events for their indoor and outdoor games were held. (right) Kylee Bloom watches as her bobsled goes down the slope. (above) Autum Funk and Beckett Hahne watch their blobsleds take off during their race. LCC pre-school teacher Sandy Murphy said, “we are taking advantage of the students’ excitement surrounding the Olympic Games by holding our own.” Events included bob sled, ski jump, shot put, penguin race and discus. Other activities were paper plate javelin throw, balloon badminton, and paper plate speed skating
