Ella Hartung and Samantha Pehrson work on a robot they put together during class last week. Angela Abts, UNL Extension 4-H Youth Development Educator from Dakota and Dixon Counties, visited Patti Cunningham’s science class at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Middle School last week. Abts brought her Lego Mindstorm EV3 robot kits. Abts visited the science class over the course of three days. The students spent the first day assembling a robot, the next two days the students learned how to write a code to move the robots through a maze.
