Local Girl Scouts practice spirit of giving

LAUREL — Tis’ the season of giving. At the beginning of the month you read about the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Girl Scout Troop using this as their theme for the Holiday season. The girls have done a great job of giving a helping hand to not only our local community but the surrounding communities.
The Cadets continued their annual tradition of decorating the community Christmas tree.
The Cadets consist of 16 girls in grades 6-9. They have been decorating the tree for six years. The tree was planted approximately seven years ago.
