Hoffarts die in Norfolk accident

NORFOLK — A Coleridge couple died Sunday after being hit by a car in downtown Norfolk on Saturday night.

Galen Hoffart, 67, and his wife, Leslie Hoffart, 65, died Sunday at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, as the result of injuries sustained in the pedestrian/auto accident.

A Norfolk police news release said the Hoffarts were hit after they stepped into a roadway. The vehicle driver was identified as 29-year-old Chelsey Foulk, of Norfolk.
