School Board learns about conferences, testing

RANDOLPH — Parent-teacher conferences were not as well attended as teachers and administrators had hoped, Randolph School Board members learned Monday.
Elementary School Prinicipal Mary Miller said parent-teacher conferences Feb. 9-10 involved a 75 percent attendance estimate.
The sixth grade class only had 9 of 17 parents attend. Teachers have attempted to schedule a second time appointment for those who missed.
MAP testing will be administered from March 13-17, with all grades third-11th grade.
Kindergarten round-up is scheduled for the 2017-2018 school year for March 31 at 9 a.m. Ten students will be eligible for kindergarten next year.
