Randolph Elementary Celebrates Nebraska’s Birthday

The Randolph Elementary hosted a Family Fun Night March 23 in honor of Nebraska’s 150th Anniversary
of becoming a state, with over 150 people enjoying the festivities. Parents and students made their own butter to eat on cornbread baked by the sixth grade class and sweetened by CBees honey.
Jenny and Randy Gubbels led the group in the state’s official dance, square dancing.  Jesse Kollars, reads for Nebraska Bingo, while Lilly Kuchta, Gracie Wortman, Chelsea Kuchta, Josh Kuchta and Payten Kuchta mark their squares, and others decipher QR codes about Nebraska’s history, The Randolph FFA chapter also had fun telling the families about special people in agriculture with their version of a “Wax Museum.”
