School Board to examine its policies next month

RANDOLPH — Randolph School Board members looked at policy and handbook updates at their Monday meeting here.
Board members approved updates to elementary and high school handbooks.
“I am pleased with the changes that we have updated within the handbooks,’’ said high school Principal Dennis Bazata.
Supt. Jeff Hoesing handed out a number of policies for board members to consider for the next board meeting, including a change to bidding purchase process, a procurement policy, code of conduct addendum, a policy on how long the board will continue discussion and voting on a deadlock for reorganizing the board when voting on officers within the board meeting, possibly limiting the time to discussion of one hour, an update to the school’s anti discrimination policy, hot lunch policy, a policy on use of federal funds.
