School Bd. gets an update on Winside co-op

RANDOLPH — The new Randolph-Winside junior high school football co-op is going well, athletic director Ted Stubbs said at the Aug. 22 School Board meeting
Stubbs reported on his work coordinating with Winside for the program and other sharing opportunities with Winside for athletics.
Winside has 12 boys out and Randolph has just nine. Practice sharing began Aug. 23.
Stubbs said he had two or three sets of parents ask about the decisions made for the program.
Games will begin with Winside against Elkhorn Valley Sept. 5, at 4 p.m., and end with Randolph against Laurel-Concord-Coledridge Oct. 16, at 4 p.m.
