Randolph Foundation meeting draws a large, enthusiastic crowd

RANDOLPH —  Almost 50 area residents from Osmond, Wynot, Coleridge, and Belden met at the Lied-Randolph Library last Tuesday to learn how their towns can become “Magnetic Communities.”
Presenter, Richard Walter addressed members from the four communities present using the same program he has delivered across the United States and Canada for keeping small communities alive and vibrant.
Walters opened with the realization that, “We discovered years ago that waiting for grants to happen or government assistance didn’t work as well as bringing our residents together to pursue community goals.”
He said in order to make things happen people from all walks of life, including local citizens, corporate partners, and alumni members who may have moved away but still want to support their hometowns.
