New Police Chief getting to know Randolph

Pat Eller began his duties here in late April as Randolph’s new Police Chief.

RANDOLPH — Randolph’s new police chief is getting used to new surroundings.
Pat Eller brings a lot of experience and knowledge in law enforcement with him as he has been involved in law enforcement for over 30 years. He was the police chief in Howells for 30 years and also served as an EMT in Howells for 25 years.
“I enjoy helping people,” he said. “I do what I can to help out. Lots of times I am the first one on the scene when a call comes in.”
Eller grew up in the Richland area, graduated from Schuyler High School and then attended the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island.
