NELIGH —  On Monday, Sept. 11, Osmond’s cross country teams traveled to the Antelope Country Club for the Neligh-Oakdale cross country invitational. It took a total team effort for the Tigers to earn the runner-up plaque.
Jared Bessmer, running a little under the weather, took sixth place in a good time of 17:44, followed by Johnson Chishiba in seventh at 18:03, also a good time.  Aaron Chishiba covered the course in 18:51 for ninth place, followed by Keaton Timmerman in 18th place in 19:26, nearly two minutes faster than he had run his previous 5K races.  Also, Keaton’s last 200 meters of the race was a sprint to the finish gate with three other runners.
