Students named to All-Star Classic

NORFOLK — Rosters for the fifth annual Red vs. White Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic have been announced by the event’s board of directors, according to Mike Fuehrer, sports development manager for the Norfolk Area Sports Council.
Osmond High School seniors Brock Johnson and Tyler Reikofski have been selected to play on the White Team. Brock has been tabbed to play on the offensive side of the ball and Tyler will be a linebacker for the defense. Both will take part in practices at Norfolk High the week prior to the game. Brock is the son of Brian and Tiffany Guenther. Tyler’s parents are Jay and Michelle Reikofski.
Past Osmond players who have been selected for the game are Carlin Krienert and Andrew Folkers for the inaugural game in 2013 and Max Frank for last year’s game.
The football game will be played on Saturday, June 10, at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Faith Regional Health Services of Norfolk is the game’s title sponsor.
