Lady Tigers drop two games

HARTINGTON —The Osmond Lady Tigers competed hard against their Lewis and Clark Conference foe, the Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats, but lost 52-41 in Hartington Friday, Jan 13.
Overall, the girls seemed to have a spark in their step throughout the game. They managed to hang with the Wildcats and battled back resiliently through much of the contest.
“We played with a lot of energy,” Coach Michael Brown said. “I saw a lot of good things by our team.”
It began with the Lady Tigers playing well in both the second and fourth quarters. They outscored the ’cats 14-12 in the second quarter and matched them 17-17 in the fourth.
Conversely, the Lady Tigers had trouble in the first and third quarters. They were outscored a combined 23-10 in those quarters (11-5 in the first quarter, and 12-5 in the third quarter).
