LOVELAND, CO — Adam Rice of Osmond and his 1931 Ford Model A recently brought home a Builder’s Choice Top 10 Award from the 20th Colorado Nationals at Loveland, CO. Hosted by Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, the Colorado Nationals was held Sept. 8-10 and featured some 2,000 hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks.
Adam, who traveled with employee Devin Brown of Norfolk to Colorado, said this is the first time he has attended the national show. He did, however, participate in other Goodguys car shows with his Model A: the Third Annual “Day at the Hay” in Lincoln on June 17 where he received the Speedway Motors Homebuilt Traditional Award, and the 26th Annual Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, where he received the award for Best Ride on Wide Whites. There were 1,000 cars competing in Lincoln and 5,000 at the show in Des Moines, Adam said.
