A group of residents — Osmond senior citizens — will be this year’s honored residents. The work in the community throughout the years by its “senior” residents has been cited as building on the foundation laid by residents before them. Their perseverance for always forging forward to not only building and giving in a community with schools, churches, successful businesses, etc., but perhaps more importantly, instilling values of giving, sharing, honesty and love for their fellow neighbors will be recognized.

The featured entertainment will be presented by Tom Roth who has brought musical shows to the stage in the past in Osmond. The program will include performances by “Las Vegas entertainers.” Tom is the grandson of the late Gen Wilson.

The focus of the evening will be the “Christmas Wishes” element. Individuals and families may be nominated to receive help at Christmas time. Names of persons who could use a little help this Christmas should be submitted to Jim Schmit, (402) 649-1011, or Ron Stech, (402) 750-0485 or 748-3849. Last year’s Christmas Wishes raised more than $10,000 to bring joy to individuals and families.

Reservations are encouraged for the meal.
