Dale Hagelstein, 74, dies in Florida

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Dale Hagelstein, 74, of Jacksonville, FL, died Monday, July 3, 2017, at his home. No services are planned.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Dale was born Sept. 29, 1942, in Randolph to Herman and Verl Hagelstein. He grew up on a farm at Osmond and graduated from Osmond High School. Dale lived in and worked in Norfolk. He also lived in many states and worked various jobs from farmhand, dog catcher and cook, but the job he loved most was being a truck driver. He retired to Florida to be near his greatest love — his family. Dale loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his granddaughter. He will be missed.
Cherishing his memory are his daughter, Andrea (Dylan) Philips; stepsons Paul, Tim and Rick, all of Florida; granddaughter Berkley of Florida; brothers Earl and Jack of Omaha and Dean of Columbus, sister Jane of Norfolk and many nieces and nephews. Keith Theisen of Osmond is a nephew.
Preceding him in death were his spouse, Jan; parents Herman and Verl, and sisters Crystal Theisen and Dolores Mesta.
