Northeast to provide EMS workshops

NORFOLK – The Allied Health Department at Northeast Community College in Norfolk has announced several free, one-session workshops for emergency medical service technicians in the area during the month of April.
The workshops are offered for three continuing education credits. They will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. All workshops will be conducted in local fire halls, except for the workshop in Madison, which will be held in the Public Safety Building.
There is no need to pre-register. The workshops, dates and locations include:
Skills Night — Monday, April 10, Clearwater
Infection Control — Monday, April 10, Madison
Incident Command Structure and Triage — Tuesday, April 11, Petersburg
Adult and Pediatric Assessment — Wednesday, April 12, Ewing
Extrication — Wednesday, April 12, Wausa
