Members of the runner-up golf team are Alex Kumm, Blake Aschoff,
Brenden Hille, Tristan Maertins and Drew Krienert

The Osmond golf team had a busy week last week, but a very productive one. The Tigers played in invitationals at Pierce, Niobrara and Wakefield. The results were two runner-up finishes and a fifth-place team finish, as well as individual top medalist twice in junior Alex Kumm.
Pierce Invitational
PIERCE — The Tigers’ first meet of the week was the rescheduled Pierce invitational, held on Tuesday, May 2. Osmond placed two players in the top 20, shot a team score 371 and finished in fifth place in the 15-team field. Alex Kumm led the way with a fifth-place finish, carding a 79. Drew Krienert won the 20th medal with a 90. Other scorers for the Tigers were Tristan Maertins, 97; Brenden Hille, 105, and Blake Aschoff, 109.
Niobrara Invitational
NIOBRARA — On Wednesday, May 3, Alex Kumm posted his best career round and the second lowest round by any Osmond player ever as he shot a 2 over par 74 and won individual honors on the day. Alex’s round was good for a three-shot victory over Bloomfield’s McGuire Mackeprang.
