Fuelberth granddaughter is Miss Nebraska USA

OMAHA — Jasmine Fuelberth, daughter of Carl and Nancy Fuelberth of Norfolk and granddaughter of Alton and Leoma Fuelberth of Osmond, was named Miss Nebraska USA 2017 at a pageant held in Omaha the weekend of Jan. 13-15.
Jasmine was crowned Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2013 as a 16-year-old student at Norfolk High School. She was the first Norfolkan to win the Miss Nebraska Teen USA crown, and went on to represent the state in the Miss Teen USA 2013 pageant.
“There are some moments in life where there are just no words. . . I am speechless, and I feel like I am living in a dream!” Jasmine wrote on her Facebook page. “To the great state of Nebraska, I am so honored to represent you all throughout this year and at Miss USA! For me, it is all about people, spreading love, giving encouragement, telling people they are valuable and loved, and that is my mission, not only this year but throughout my whole life. I feel so blessed!”
As Miss Nebraska USA, Fuelberth will now compete in the nationally-televised Miss USA pageant later this year.
