‘Christmas Wishes’ planned for Sunday

OSMOND — Sunday marks the 2016 edition of “Osmond Christmas Wishes.” The event will take place at Osmond city auditorium. It is sponsored by Sons of the American Legion Squadron 326.

The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. A catered meal will be served by Tiger Tavern staff at 6:30 p.m. An “Osmond video” will be presented by Jeff and Cash Luhr. A group of residents — Osmond senior citizens — will be this year’s honored residents. The work in the community throughout the years by its “senior” residents has been cited as building on the foundation laid by residents before them. Their perseverance for always forging forward to not only building and giving in a community with schools, churches, successful businesses, etc., but perhaps more importantly, instilling values of giving, sharing, honesty and love for their fellow neighbors will be recognized.
