14 OHS seniors to receive diplomas on Saturday

The strains of “Pomp And Circumstance” on Saturday, May 10, at Osmond High School will signal a “turning of a page” in the lives of 14 OHS seniors. They will be awarded their high school diplomas during the 2 p.m. ceremonies in the school gym.

Honor Students Named

The four top-ranking seniors will present speeches during the ceremonies. In addition, the next two highest-ranking seniors will deliver the welcome and farewell for the program. Introducing the speakers will be Principal Michael Brown.

Valedictorian of the Class of 2014 is Chelsea Wiese. She is the daughter of Ronda Wiese and Mark and Jill Wiese. The salutatorian this year is Blake Brummels. His parents are Ed and Sandy Brummels.

Ranking third is Scot Gubbels, son of John and Laurie Gubbels. The fourth-ranking senior is Kaitlyn Miller. She is the daughter of Jon and Mary Miller.

Ranking fifth is Courtnie Lambrecht who will deliver the welcome. Her parents are Marvin and Rebecca Lambrecht. Sixth-ranking is MaKayla Johnson, who will give the farewell. She is the daughter of Walter and Michele Aschoff and Doug Johnson.
