Seniors’ days are winding down

LAUREL — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge seniors are winding down their last days as high school students.

Graduation Day for the 33 seniors is coming up a week from Saturday. The combined graduation ceremony May 11 for 28 Laurel-Concord students and five Coleridge students will be in the held in the new gym at the Laurel location, beginning at 2 p.m.

The senior from each school that ranks third in their class will give the welcome at the graduation ceremony.

The Laurel-Concord valedictorian and salutatorian and the Coleridge valedictorian and salutatorian will each present a five minute speech.

Baccalaureate for the Coleridge students will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m.

The Laurel-Concord baccalaureate is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in the old gym.

The LCC High School Spring Concert, which includes recognition of the senior band and choir students, is  set for Monday at 7 p.m.

Awards night for all high school students will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. Senior scholarships will also be announced.

A senior breakfast will be held Friday, May 10.

“Following the breakfast the students will decorate for graduation,” said High School Principal Adam Zellmer.

Monday will be the last day of school for the 2013 senior class.

May 16 is the last school day for other LCC students.
