Local Girl Scout leaders to be recognized

LAUREL —   Juliette Gordon Low once said, “my purpose (is) … to go on with my heart and soul, devoting all my energies to Girl Scouts, and heart and hand with them, we will make our lives and the lives of the future girls happy, healthy and holy.”
Without volunteers, Girl Scouts would not exist.
Today in Laurel, Concord and Coleridge, girls are given the chance to build skills, take the lead and discover life changing adventures.
The Spirit of Nebraska will celebrate Girl Scout Leader’s Day, April 22, and National Volunteer Week, April 23-29, by honoring volunteers and leaders for the time and effort they devote to the young girls in the area communities.
