LCC Homecoming plans are now in place

LAUREL — Homecoming Week is sure to bring a smile or two to area residents as Laurel-Concord-Coleridge students celebrate this special week in style,

The week started with a special Super Hero Day on Monday as students were encouraged to dress up like their favorite super hero.

The hats and boots came out Tuesday for Cowboy Day.

The Student Council is awarding prizes for the best dressed and second best dressed each day.

Camouflage and Animal Print day took over on Wednesday.

People will think they are seeing double on Thursday  as students celebrate the week with Twin Day.

Friday will be Spirit Day at the school.

Each day there will be a Spirit Scavenger Hunt.  Items will be read and posted in the daily bulletin.  All items collected should be given to your class sponsor and placed in the Spirit Box given to you by the Student Council.   The class with the most Spirit Items on Friday wins the HUNT!

There will also be info on a Mystery Player posted on the bulletin board next to Mrs. Baker’s room.  Students are encouraged to see if they can guess the “Player” via ichat to Mrs. Baker.  Winners will be placed in a drawing for a prize given out at the Pep Rally on Friday.

Friday’s pep rally will be in the Old Gym at 2 p.m.

The Coronation and Homecoming Dance will take place after Friday’s football game with Ponca. This year’s DJ is Double Diamond and will be playing after Coronation until 12:30 a.m.
