Laurel native honored for her medical work

LAUREL  —  Kay Anderson was recently honored for her passion for educating, caring and helping others.

The 1981 Laurel-Concord graduate was presented the John J. Hanigan Award for her leadership and advocacy for public health and has recently returned from a medical mission trip to East Africa.

This has been an eventful, exciting year for Dr. Anderson, who now lives in Lincoln with her family.
