Former Coleridge Principal is taking on new role

HARTINGTON    —  Stephanie Petersen, a former Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Elementary/Middle School Principal, has submitted her resignation as the Superintendent of the Creighton School.
The Creighton Board of Education recently called a special meeting to address the resignation, which is effective June 30, 2017, and to discuss the selection process for finding a new superintendent for the school.
Petersen will continue to work in the education field as she has been hired as the Superintendent and Elementary Principal for the Leigh Community School, which is located approximately 25 miles northeast of Columbus.
“We are moving closer to family,” Petersen had said at the time of her resignation. “I will finish the year at Creighton. I look forward to working with everyone second semester.”
Stephanie Petersen had been involved in the Coleridge and Laurel-Concord Schools for 23 years.
Petersen started her teaching career at the Coleridge Community School in 1989 and stayed on as the music teacher for five years.
