CHS to hold 116th annual graduation exercises Saturday

LAUREL — Coleridge Community Schools will hold their 116th annual graduation exercises Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.

The Coleridge High School graduates and the Laurel-Concord High School graduates will combine, having only one ceremony. The graduation exercises will be held at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Public Schools gymnasium, in Laurel.

Even though there will be a combined graduation ceremony, each school will be represented by their respective Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Ben Barelman is the 2014 Coleridge High School Valedictorian. Ben is the son of Laura and Dave Dendinger and Ward Barelman.

Cameron Eddie is the 2014 Coleridge High School Salutatorian. Cameron is the daughter of Brian Eddie and Sandy Eddie.

They will each give a senior address.

Mitchell Klooz has been named as the 2014 Laurel-Concord High School Valedictorian. He is the son of Randy and Lori Klooz.

The 204 Laurel-Concord High School Salutatorian is Kelsey Dietrich. She is the daughter of Mike Dietrich and

Michelle Dietrich.

The Laurel-Concord/Coleridge High School concert band, under the direction of Patti Beyeler, will perform at the graduation ceremony, as well as the LCCHS choir, under the direction of Claudia Dvorak.

The Coleridge Community Educational Foundation, Inc., presented the foundation scholarships at the Awards/Honors Night May 2.

Baccalaureate for LCC Schools will be held in the gym at Laurel at 7 p.m. tonight (May 7).

The last day of school for the seniors was May 6.

The last day of school for grades 9-11 is scheduled for May 15, although students out for golf and track will still be busy with school events.
