Area residents help meet Veterans’ Memorial goal

COLERIDGE — The last few months have been an exciting time for members of the American Legion in Coleridge.

American Legion Post 114 had put a plan in place for a “Project Camp” memorial which would honor veterans with connections to the Coleridge community. Names of veterans from any era would be included on the memorial.

A total amount of $90,000 would be needed for the veteran’s memorial, which would be constructed near the corner of Broadway and Main Street in downtown Coleridge.

With the most recent donation of $5,000 from Security Bank in Coleridge, the American Legion Post 114 has reached its goal of $90,000.
