Area resident to be featured on national TV show

LAUREL — Tiffany Plager sat down one day and wrote tearfully from her heart about being on both sides of organ donation — life and death.
She submitted her letter to NBC’s The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda, “Everyone has a Story.”
Two weeks later she noticed she had a missed call on her phone from The Today Show.
“I hadn’t even told my mom what I had done,” she said. “I then had to call my mom and tell her we were going to New York City on April 26 with hotel, flights and car waiting for us at the airport.”
Tiffany and her mom June Erwin will be live on NBC the fourth hour of The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda on April 27 at 10 a.m.
The Erwin’s main wish is to stress the importance of organ donation.  Because of the unselfish decision of an anonymous family, June is able to continue living to enjoy her family and her two adorable grandchildren, Thomas age two and a half and Nolan age seven months.
