Wynot, Cedar girls finish at or near top

LINCOLN — Cedar County can now boast of having two of the best girls basketball teams in the state.
The Lincoln Journal Star rated Class D2 state champion Wynot as the top team in D2, while the Journal Star rated C2’s Cedar Catholic as the fourth-best team in Class C2.


State champion Homer, a two-point winner over Cedar in the state semifinal game, was named the top team in C2.
