Wynot baseball team is on a win streak

WYNOT  — Wynot is beginning to roll just as the post-season begins to approach.
The Expos defeated South Central League foe Freeman 14-4 here Thursday, then topped long-time rival Crofton, 9-6 Friday to steal sole possession of  first place in the league away from the Crofton squad.

The long ball lifted Wynot to the big win against an out-matched Freeman team.
Lee Heimes hit a pair of home runs, including a grand slam for the home team, while  Matt Hames added a homer and two other hits to lead the team to the big win.
