New industry could be headed to Hartington

HARTINGTON — A new industry may soon be located in the Deerfield building just west of Hartington along Hwy 84.
A manufacturing business involving travel trailers may be moving into the building which is owned by Hartington native Bob Eickhoff’s CORAE, Inc. and at one time housed Neu Cheese Company.

The plans are still in the preliminary stages, according to the Eickoffs, who say they are, “doing everything they can to get the business moved to Hartington.”
More information will be known after a public hearing that will be held during the Oct. 25 Hartington City Council meeting.
Prince Distribution Services out of South Sioux City had temporarily moved into the building in June due to the threat of flood waters from the Missouri River.
The company left the facility in mid-September and moved back to their permanent location in South Sioux City.
