Heimes thanks therapists for getting her back on her feet

HARTINGTON — Liz Heimes has nothing but praise for the therapy unit at the Golden Living Center, Hartington.

Three and one-half months ago Heimes lay in a hospital bed with a broken back.

“At first I couldn’t even roll over by myself. The pain was horrible, especially the first week at the hospital,” Heimes said.

Thanks to the work of Golden Living Center therapists,  Heimes was able to return to her job at Prince Hydraulics last week.

She is quick to give credit for her recovery to the therapy she received at the Golden Living Center.

Heimes spoke May 6 to approximately 35 representatives from nursing home facilities across the state that had gathered at the Cobblestone Inn, Hartington.

Heimes talked about the therapy she had received at the Golden Living Rehab Center.
