Hartington running backs lead County rushers

HARTINGTON — With the 2011 high school football regular season two-thirds complete, five Cedar County athletes still have a legitimate shot at breaking the coveted 1,000-mark this season.

Hartington’s Alec Fuelberth leads all Cedar County ball carriers with 712 yards so far this year.
Cedar Catholic’s  Keenan Sudbeck is second on the rushing charts with 608 yards. Both could conceivably break the 1,000-yard plateau before the end of the regular season.
Wynot’s Jackson Sudbeck leads Cedar County in passing. He has completed 54-133-634 yards.
Cedar Catholic quarterback Kyle Klug and Randolph’s Nolan Nordhues also both have a shot at picking up 1,000 yards through the air.
Klug has  615 yards through the air. Nordhues has thrown the ball for 599 yards this season.
