Fourth DUI sends area man to prison pgnations

HARTINGTON — A 35-year-old rural Hartington man has been sent to prison for two-five years for a fourth offense DUI conviction.
Charges had been filed against Victor Perez Dec. 20, 2016, which included Operation of a Motor Vehicle while under Influence of Alcoholic Liquor – fourth offense and Driving During Revocation, which are both felonies, along with charges of an open alcoholic beverage container; driving on highway shoulders and driving left of center.
Three prior convictions for DUI included offenses that occurred in Polk County in 2012; Platte County in 2010 and Colfax County in 2008.
