Veterans are honored at Memorial Day programs

Clare Hansen and Virgil Bayne fold a flag following the services at the cemetery.

COLERIDGE — Area residents took advantage of sunny weather Monday to celebrate Memorial Day
An “avenue of flags” featuring over 100 flags was put up along the street by the Community Building.
Flags could also be seen flying at homes, businesses and at the four local cemeteries.
Members of the Coleridge American Legion Carl Korff Post, the Auxiliary members and other volunteers put many of the flags in place Saturday.
