LCC Middle School has a few changes this year

LAUREL — The enrollment at the LCC Middle School is up by 14 students from last year’s number. The 2017-18 enrollment this fall is 138, while the 2016-17 enrollment was 124.
A few changes have taken place at the Middle School this year, according to Jay Vance, who has stepped in as the Middle School Principal.
Students at the Middle School are being offered exploratory classes this year which include Career & Business, Agriculture, Family Consumer Science, Art, Industrial Tech and Spanish classes.
“The classes will be rotated on a six-week basis,” Vance said.
