Community VBS will kick off Sunday

COLERIDGE — The Coleridge Community Churches are excited for the start of this year’s Vacation Bible School.

“SonSurf Beach Bash” will kick-off Sunday at 3:30 p.m.  Families will meet at Immanuel Lutheran Church for a scavenger hunt that takes them around town. The adventure will include: visiting the community churches, singing at The Embers and Park View Haven, and will come to a close with a pot-luck meal at the city park at 5:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend by bringing either a salad or dessert to add to the meal. Hotdogs, buns, pop and chips have already been donated.

The kids will continue with their beach themed journey Monday-Thursday, 6–9 p.m.  The week will come to a close with a special service next Friday, May 24, at 7 p.m.
