Area churches changing their worship schedules

COLERIDGE  — June will bring some changes to the schedules for several area churches.

With the Sunday School students on summer vacation, Immanuel Lutheran Church will begin having their Sunday morning worship services at 9 a.m. This will start on Sunday and continue through Labor Day weekend.

Saturday night services will remain at 7 p.m. for Immanuel.

Several of the area Catholic churches will be changing their schedules as well.

Beginning with the June 22-23 weekend Masses, Holy Trinity will return to an 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday schedule.

St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Coleridge, will also return to its old Saturday night schedule beginning with the June 22-23 weekend Masses.

Mass at the Coleridge Church will be held at 7 p.m. Saturdays. There will no longer be a Sunday Mass in Coleridge, however.

June 22 will mark the first day St. Michael’s begins its new alliance with St. Mary’s, Laurel, and St. Anne’s, Dixon, thus ending its collaboration with Holy Trinity.

Sunday morning Masses will be held at 8 a.m. at St. Mary’s in Laurel and at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s in Dixon.

Mass times and locations for the three churches in Holy Family parish also change June-August.

Mass will be at 5 p.m., Saturdays in St. Helena;  9 a.m., Sundays at Wynot; and 11 a.m., Sundays in Bow Valley.
